Web Exclusive: SF mayoral candidate Wilma Pang

open in popupThere are 16 candidates in this fall's San Francisco mayoral race, and KALW News' Ben Trefny has spoken with nine so far, including a city attorney, a state senator, and a city assessor-recorder, just to name a few. In his tenth interview, Trefny sat down with lesser known candidate Wilma Pang to get her vision for the future of San Francisco.
Pang is a music teacher at City College of San Francisco, as well as the founder and co-chair of ABCT (A Better Chinatown Tomorrow), a community based organization formed to preserve the rich cultural heritage of Chinatown and North Beach.
In her on-air interview, Pang gave her thoughts on some of the larger political issues in the city. And in this extended interview, Pang elaborates on her platform, which includes promoting the arts and supporting seniors.
